Technical University of Košice is a public college covering a wide range of educational needs not just for the East Slovak region but in many fields it is the only science, research and education center not only in Slovakia but also in the Central European area.

ICAMCYL is a non-profit research foundation created by the automotive, manufacturing, advanced materials, mining and processing of raw materials sectors of Castilla y León (Spain). ICAMCYL acts as the Regional Innovation Network, linked to many European municipalities and various industries. It contributes to two Strategic European Alliances and industrial platforms, related to advanced materials for batteries and mining. ICAMCYL is specialized in innovation procurement: Our expertise extends to mineral & strategic resources, advanced raw materials & industrial technologies, energy storage, capture, storage and re-use of CO2. We are actively engaged in projects related to life-cycle assessment, value chain design, and innovation policy and creation of ecosystems including cascade funding management. With a strong presence in the European Innovation Platform of Raw Materials (EIP Raw Materials) and key EU initiatives like MIREU ("Mining and Metallurgy regions of EU"), we contribute significantly to the fields of circular economy and raw materials processing and reuse.

ISMC

The National Cluster for Sustainable Mining and Associated Services of the Iberian Peninsula (ISMC) brings together more than 80 companies, professional organizations, universities and research centres with more than 2000 employees dedicated to the mining industry and its associated services. Our main objective is to unite efforts and attract relevant actors in the value chains of mining and raw materials in order to promote the sustainability and circularity of the sector while promoting growth, competitiveness and innovation. We work hand in hand with our members and partners to consolidate the strengths of our mining industry globally, with special interest in developing collaborative projects with our commercial and institutional partners in the European Union.

MNLT emerged in 2018 as a spin-off of Monolithos Catalysts Ltd., leveraging the successful trajectory of its predecessor in Research and Innovation (R&I), particularly in catalysis and recycling. Drawing from this legacy, MNLT is committed to empowering individuals and businesses to actualize their innovative concepts. MNLT brings extensive expertise spanning industrial minerals, metals, materials, and energy sectors, cultivated over multiple years. By means of its division of sustainable solutions, MNLT offers professional solutions and tools for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC), Social Life Cycle Assessment (SLCA), eco-design, carbon and water footprint calculation, environmental communications and regulatory compliance to private companies and business associations. Moreover, MNLT delivers premium services encompassing the entire business development journey, from inception to market penetration, with ongoing support and oversight. The mission of sustainable Solutions Team of MNLT is to support companies and organizations in improving and communicating their environmental, economic and social sustainability.

For more than 30 years, Fraunhofer IKTS has been demonstrating the potential of ceramic materials in a steadily growing range of applications such as energy storage and wastewater treatment. As a research and technology service provider, IKTS offers advanced ceramic materials and components as well as customized industrial manufacturing processes. Special emphasis is on the sustainable use of resources and closed material cycles. IKTS develops recycling approaches enabling the economic recovery of valuable materials, e.g., from batteries or power electronics. For this purpose, the institute operates various pilot plants at its Freiberg site including monitoring systems and database solutions.

Consentia

Consentia aims to foster the emergence and deployment of sustainable investments in collaboration with citizens, communities and partners. Our experts provide Social Acceptance Studies, Social Licensing and Social Licence to Operate (SLO), socio-economic analyses, as well as strategy design and consultation support. ​ We built our participative approaches and sound methodological processes into a Label and will accelerate your path to deployment.

Lapland University of Applied Sciences

Lapland University of Applied Sciences is the northernmost UAS in Finland and in the EU focusing on higher education and research, development, and innovations. LapUAS service palette covers training services, short term development assignments as well as RDI projects. The strategic choices of the University focus on Global Arctic responsibility, Future Services and Reachability and Sustainable Tourism.

The only competitiveness cluster in all subsurface industrial sectors, AVENIA brings together more than 260 members (large groups, ETIs, SMEs, startups, independent workers, laboratories, training organizations, universities and engineering schools, federative structures or communities) with the aim of building sectors of excellence, particularly through support for setting up collaborative R&D projects. AVENIA is supported by the State, the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region, the Agglomeration of Pau and the CCI Pau Béarn Pyrénées.
